I am so grateful for this sweet example in my life. On July 28th they have been married 63 years. Maynard has been amazing to watch as he has faithfully cared for Grandma the past several years. Right now they don't even want to be in different rooms. It is so tender, I feel so blessed to be around them and be taught by their example....I am so grateful...I love you both so much! xoxo

Wow! At first glance, I thought that the picture was one of the Zobrists! Darren reminds me a lot of his Grandpa Dye and I always thought he was pure Zobrist! What a tribute.

Isnt it amazing what we learn from our parents...even at this stage in our lives. You are a good daughter-in-law & I know just how exhausting caring for "Dad" can be! But SO worth it. The love we have for our families is eternal.... xo J

Aunt Kathie, I found your blog off of a friends blog... What a wonderful tribute to grandpa and grandma. He has been such a wonderful example to his children and grandchildren as he tenderly cared for grandma the last few years. You have been such an amazing daughter-in-law to he and grandma..
